"Hydrate or GO HOME!!"

Hey everybody! Anyone who knows me or who reads my blogs, knows I LOVE a great TWIST! I finally got my husband to write a BLOG! Woo hoo! After two years, he did it, and I would love it if you all leave him a nice encouraging comment. He likes that! And now, I will step aside ..... here's Wayne blogging....

I've been researching some of the top name waters on the market, and very few have "electrolytes". Most contain electrolytes that come in a "powder-addititive" form, and very minimal at that. If you're an athlete, you should be interested in "electrolytes", or "minerals" such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, etc. They promote hydration, and consequently reduce muscle contractions and cramps. Exactly what you need if you're working up a sweat! Not only great for all you young and healthy athlete's out there, but also great for older people who's kidney's tend to not work as well, and replenishment of minerals is crucial.

Kona Deep water is quite intriguing for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, it's 100% natural deep sea water from off the coast of Kona, Hawaii. Secondly, all the minerals, magnesium, potassium, calcium, sodium, etc. are directly in the water. No powder additives need apply!

The Kona Deep website says, "Deep seawater is water drawn from deep in the ocean usually from 2000 to 3000 feet below the surface. Water at those depths is very old, very cold and free of the contaminants and pollutants that can taint surface water. Deep Sea Water is pathogen free and naturally rich in important nutrients and minerals.

Deep seawater drawn from the ocean adjacent to Kona, Hawaii has the added benefits derived from the unique circumstances of Hawaii's global location. Specifically, Hawaii is one the most remote archipelagos in the world and is located at the end of the Global Conveyor Belt, a deep sea current which makes Hawaii's deep seawater the cleanest and most nutritious anywhere. Kona Deep® seawater is at the pinnacle of all deep sea waters. It is bottled at the source in Kona, Hawaii. Drawn only from the 3000 foot depth and approximately 2000 years old, it is desalinized through a state-of-the-art, double-pass, reverse osmosis system that guarantees purity while preserving natural nutrients and minerals."

So there you have it! Pretty cool stuff! Sometimes I find myself taking a sip, and thinking, "2000 years old? That's about the time Jesus was walking on water! Amazing!"

My new motto is "Hydrate or go home!" and it should be yours too! "Go deep! Kona Deep!"

Kona Deep is now available at a location nearby, please leave a comment and we can get back to you with the nearest store location!

Congratulations to Olivia Peña of Thunder Volleyball!

Jackson Sports Academy and the YStudio Photography team would like to congratulate recent high school graduate and Thunder Volleyball 18-1 Storm's Olivia Pena! Olivia who has been playing club ball since she was eight. Olivia will be attending Notre Dame DeNamur in the fall with partial academic and athletic

Way to go OLIVIA!!!!!!!!!

Sports Photography with a Twist!

What do you think about when someone says Sports Photography? Do you envision a kid in his baseball uniform posing with his bat over his shoulder? Or do you think automatically about the same old stand up and say cheese in your face type of shot? Although there is NOTHING wrong with this and realistically those are necessary for a team, but, why not play a little?

What I like to do is speak with the coaches, visit the teams practices, learn about what makes THIS team unique, what get's them motivated and learn about their mission and themes. We had the opportunity to work with a fabulous Director, Vickey Williams of the Thunder Volleyball Club a few months back and it was such a GREAT experience!

Vickey had contacted me after seeing the work YStudio was doing for our wedding couples and portraits. She loved and raved about the work we do, our unique approach and she asked us to come and photograph her club. She was awesome and pretty much gave us carte blanche. Although I have to admit, we had no idea what to expect or how we were going to organize a photo session (on-location at the city of Benicia's beach front), with over 60 people!

I have to say that after session, hubby and I took a deep breath, packed up got in the car and said whewwwwwwwwwww.....it was a bit of a task since it was a bit nippy and windy, but we did it and those gals were FABULOUS!! YStudio would like to thank the Thunder Volley Ball Club of Solano County...we just LOVE 'em and we look forward to MORE Sports and Live Action Portraiture!

GO TEAM!!!!!
